The aim in this long narrow garden was to create a sense of open space but still leave enough room for deep planting beds where layers of plants could develop.
A studio/workshop was built at the end of the garden which provided a very pretty backdrop and dictated the style of the surrounding planting. Neighboring trees and climbers were an added bonus.
A curved oak seat was added and two large boxes with zinc lids were made for storage instead of the usual shed.
