About

Jane Brockbank Gardens is an award winning landscape design studio based in London. Started in 1999 they have built up a reputation for dynamic and imaginative planting with a strong emphasis on how plants coexist and interrelate in nature.  Coming from a fine art background Jane combines a painterly use of colour and texture with a contemporary approach to structure and form.

A love of craft and detail permeates everything they do.

Collaborations with leading Architect’s and designers have resulted in a wide range of private and commercial projects from pocket sized city gardens through to large country estates. She has exhibited twice at Chelsea Flower Show, the last one ‘Nature Ascending’ in 2009 receiving a gold.

Jane holds full registered membership status (MSGD) with The Society of Garden Designers and currently sits on the editorial panel of their magazine The Garden Design Journal.

The Society of Garden Designers is the only professional association dedicated to supporting, promoting and maintaining the highest standards within the industry.

What we do

We can offer design only work or full co-ordination of a project from start to finish giving all aspects the rigorous attention to detail we are known and trusted for. We are experienced in planning applications and large-scale master-planning.

Crucially, we understand that a garden takes time and care to develop and that it is never a fixed entity – we strongly believe that an ongoing relationship with whoever is responsible for its aftercare is vital. Post planting we offer to re-visit at key times in the year to check on its progress and advise on how it can be improved on.
