Chelsea Flower Show

This gold medal winning garden in 2009 was a collaboration with Angus Thompson Design.

It takes inspiration from forgotten corners of larger gardens or nature reserves where Birds, Bees and Butterflies are a constant presence.

The garden actively encourages this wildlife to share the urban space; concrete walls have built in bird boxes and feeders, water troughs add a further layer of amphibian life and the floating platform and boardwalk provide shade and shelter.

Planting was carefully selected to attract as diverse a range of insects as possible.
